Committee Reports
-
Social
Committee-The bridge group continues to meet on Tuesday afternoons. They
will be planning some winter functions so watch the notice board in the mail
shed. They will be contacting Shaw and Telus regarding hook-ups for
clubhouse.
-
Bylaw
Committee-Bylaws were presented to council and reviewed. Any changes
necessary will be done. An SGM date to present the bylaws for approval has
been set for April 20/2004. All Residents will receive the final draft prior
to that date.
-
AL Committee-
reported on one alteration request and made a recommendation to council.
Their meetings will be as needed over the winter months.
-
Gardening
Committee – see council minutes for copy of report. Council has requested
that discussions with Brenco start in January so he is aware of our
expectations for the coming season and to ensure that our expectations are
met.
-
Discussions took
place regarding the front gates. There is evidence that the gates have been
forced open. This contributes to excessive wear and tear on the gates and
eventually higher maintenance costs. Mag locks will be installed on the gates
to prevent this from happening. There have been problems with clickers not
working and a specialist is being called in to find the problem. If you have
forgotten your key or clicker please call a neighbor rather than trying to
force the gate.
-
Council wants to
remind residents that there is a $20 fee for replacing your man gate key so
please try to keep it in a safe place.
-
Council asks that
homeowners please refrain from washing their Driveways and the road in front
of their street for the winter months. This washes away the Anti-icing
compounds which are sprayed on the streets.
